Paralever Gaiter Clip/Ties

Anyone know if the 100GS Paralever gaiter screw clips fit the later 11XX's?

The forward one is listed as 132mm diameter.

There are two different sizes listed for the rear one; 90 & 83mm diameter.

I'm just fed-up with the cable-tie versions having to be replaced each time they are disturbed and they don't seem to be as good at sealing the gaiter to the shaft housing (keeping out the crap) as the old hose-clip type.

Just go in a good moter spares/B&Q and buy a jublee clip cheaper the bying the same thing from BMW

I've fitted them to my 1150 instead of the cable ties.

They're too wide and cut into the gaiter.

Liked the idea of upgrading clips on my 1150. I asked for the parts you use. Parts bloke wouldn't have it that front clamps from 100/1100 are different. Possibly to prove his point, I suspect I walked off with one for 1100..
It does not fully tighten up (or rather, the clamp is fully closed before 'clamping' the gaiter). Just before I go back, I am assuming your clamps are not like this(?)

Motorworks were saying a few months back that the smaller jubilee was about to vanish in favour of (i guess) the cheaper to make plastic effort.

That may have changed.. or was wrong. I see the clip is still on the website.

COMPUTAH SEZ NOH! (Cough)

Went bag to Motorport this morning. (Local Beemer shop).

They swung the screen round to show me r100gs and r1100gs gaiter clamps are same part. Got money back. Carry on.

Rear clip is now a tie wrap for 1100gs, btw as Tony said.

Still, at least when I clipped front tie-wrap off, the half expected 1/2 pint of rusty water didn't appear.

Will give this up for now, at least as far as NL is concerned. Might well check out the 'obsloete' parts situation over in Germany or even GB, next time I'm over there.
