A quick makeover

This is my makeover job of peepingtoms bike, complete with vespa rack and brass pipe clamps.
rear curve of subframe is also vespa rack tubing.
Mudguard was £12 from a trailer parts shop.
GSXR 1000 titanium guts end can.
DRZ400 headlight unit.
XR650 forks (on when purchased).
Left side now sporting a cut down side panel.
I'll get some real world (read island) photos when I can see out both my eyes (detached retina).

Its a four piston left caliper used on the K1200



I am not sure about the heap of a triumph, T100 maybe, not mine, though I do get to scare myself on it occasionally, seems to have issues that are difficult to pin down!

It needs some use, the lever pulls closer to the bars than I would like, but it should improve with some use, it's back on the road come spring,
The triumph's brakes are shit, especially when you try to work them with the gear lever!

That's a 650 triumph. With a few mods and a balanced crank they are a lovely bike. I had one for years and loved it. I did fit a suzuki gt550 front end in it to get the twin disk front end though. A pair of e3134 cams, higher comp, electronic ignition and it will be very lively.

That's a 650 triumph. With a few mods and a balanced crank they are a lovely bike. I had one for years and loved it. I did fit a suzuki gt550 front end in it to get the twin disk front end though. A pair of e3134 cams, higher comp, electronic ignition and it will be very lively.

it has electronic ignition, it has carb issues, and the owner doesn't want to buy a new carb, you get to a specific speed and the power chops in and out, other than that it runs great!

I also recommend billet rods, mikunis and excellent jetting advice from Steve at Allens. I used a (lockheed fitment) period spondon calliper on mine (now going onto another I'm building) to make it stop well enough to lock the wheel coming down into Oliver's Mount Farm bends (not somewhere you ever want to crash). Bonnies are mint!

And paralever GS's too, of course

Although my open face helmet looks a little too small for my father-in-law!

No towel throwing here, I was even out in the snow up at the Horseshoe pass in January?

The TKC's take a bit of getting used to, 4oC and an uphill start resulted in a crash bar test and a severe upper body work out, still musn't grumble it great to be back in the saddle!
