On my several streetview trips to Paris (geeky, I know) that bikers simply park their bikes on the pavement... so long as they don't get in the way of pedestrians.

Question is, is it safe to leave a bike on some random street corner whilst I do the usual tourist stuff around the city? I suppose it depends on where you stay etc, just wondering if anyone had any thoughts.

Second question, free parking for bikes at Disneyland?

IME park anywhere without being a twonk about it.

Tourist places, e.g.: there are bike bays under Eiffel's limited edition Meccano 'Parisian Tower' set.

Hi , just back from Paris, impressive place, said i would never go,can't wait to go back, trouble is, always said never go back to the same place, big world & all that! a lot of Hotels have underground car parking or a garage, they'll charge you,so your choice do what the locals do & park on the pavements or pay for Hotel parking,i diid'nt see any motorbikes large or small with locks on!

I was in Paris last week.....bikes park everywhere... If you use common sense no one bats an eyelid....there are hundreds.... You would be unlucky to get yours stolen!
