I have had one of these sitting there for a while waiting to fit. Now I am getting round to it I can't see anywhere that makes a sensible mount. It won't fit under the seat nor in the space at the back. Anyone solved this? Ta.

Plenty of space in the tail.
I have my camera system in there as well as most of the “spare” wire attaching to my Hex-E-Z-Can

if you dont have an alarm, it fits right at the back.

If you remove the plastic grid then there’s a load of space available, this is my old LC with PDM60, I’ve gone HexEZcan on my current GSA

Just to add, there was a plastic cover over the Earth bus after fitting, I didn’t leave it like that

Where did you take the switched live feed from?. I have a fuzeblock to fit & wondered if I could take it from the tail light or would it throw up a fault code as its a canbus system.

I took the switched live feed from the tail light, but that was a 2014 bike.

On later bikes there is a small fuse box behind the tank, near the front edge of the riders seat. It looks like it’s just a connector plug but it’s a mini fuse box and has an ignition switched live there.

I had one prior to switching to a Hex E-Z Can (and fitting that, along with the camera, in the tail)

I took the switched live from the connector at the base of the tank (by the height adjusters) - I THINK it was the brown/red wire - and I mounted the PDM on the outside of the left-hand side of the "ECU box" I have a cover fitted now, but it was where I've circled on this picture.
This left room on the inside (of said "box") for the various connectors etc. Like a previous respondent, I also had a "negative" bus bar tucked away in the same space.
This meant that the programming wire could easily be attached to the PDM - all I had to do was cover the port with a wrap of electrical tape.

Hope this helps. There isn't a lot of space on the GS/GSA!

Not the tail light as its a variable voltage feed, I used one of the feeds to the plug situated under the driver seat.

Thanks everyone. Noted that people have moved to the Hexcam. Is that a better solution overall?

As long as the number of outputs and current capabilities meet your needs, then the eZcan is a good solution. I particularly like the fact that unlike most other systems, each output provides both 12V and earth so you don't end up with messy arrangements for the earth return wire for anything you power with the system. The other possible advantages are the additional features like adjusting aux light brightness or flashing additional brakes lights, etc, though these are not a big factor for me.

I fitted the PDM60 and an Autocom SPA under the riders seat on my GSA.
