Universal Photochromatic, i`m having problems with this lens in my visor.

Years ago when FogCity brought out a Photochromatic Adhesive Lens it was a doddle to fit my Caberg Front-Flip helmet. Had a yellow finish when the sun didn`t shine and better for the fact that riding at night helped to stop glare off headlights too.
Well, i`ve tried to get the same lens for my new helmet and even asking my motorcycle retailer to send me one he says only the Phoenix version is available.
I note that this lens is not as big as the FogCity was. Or is it that my new helmet has a larger opening.
Anyway, peeling it off the protective backing sheet and then a green film, (this took a while just to take that off) it leaves a white sticky foam edge that I suppose then sticks to the inside of my visor. Not too happy with the foam as it`s in line of sight with a side glance.
Maybe i`m not reading the fixing instructions right.

I am hoping someone else has tried to fit one of these or the plan anti-fog lens to their helmet visor.

Help ... would be much appreciated.

I can close this thread.

I`ve rung a number on the back of the sleave that the lens comes in. They have pointed out that i`ve got one that they first made and that came with the white foam sticky stuff. This has been replaced with a clear edge as it does hinder sight.
So the kind man on the phone asks for my address and they`re going to send the newer version to me and i`ll send this one back.
