Phone numbers

I can't see any phone numbers posted on this site, landline or mobile.
There is no reason (according to a mod) for this in my settings so he seems to think it is my computer settings. I'm quite new to Vista but I think I could see them on Vista until the last couple of days, any ideas?

And just to throw a spanner in the works, I can see phone numbers in the xlv forum, they show up with a union jack (skype style)

It's something to do with Skype parsing the numbers on screen.

It's apparently a known issue - you need to contact Skype support.
