Photo's won't open!

I use kodak Easyshare software to store all my photo's however I have recently had a bit of a tidy up on my computer and moved various things into different folders etc.

When I go back to Kodak Easyshare all my pictures are displaing a red zig zag in the corner and it won't let me open the saying 'files has been moved or deleted'

I've moved loads of stuff and theres no way of moving it back as I just can't remember!

I thereanyway of making the Kodak Easyshare recognise where I've put things?

Have I lost everything? :eek

You've moved the pics but not told the programme where to......
But then you already knew that

If you can remember a name of a pic, do a search for one.
If you can't, download a new pic from the camera and look at what the new pics are called.....it may be DSC100xxx for example, where xxx is an automatically assigned number by the camera.

Then search for a file containing DSC* (where you replace DSC with whatever the start of yours is...the '*' acts as a wildcard and will show you anything that starts with DSC.......

Once you've found the pics on the PC, open up the software and save a new pic...it should give you the option of changing the default location...here you have a choice, you can either write down the default location then copy and paste all the 'lost' pics from wherre you found them (you did write that down did't you

) or you can tell the software to save pics in the same location as the 'lost' ones.....either way, it should then be able to find all the pics.
