Picos, Del Oso...June 2009

I went last autumn from North Yorks too for 5-6 days and stayed there

Met neil23 in Potes and it all went downhill from then on - cheers Neil:thumb

I can recommend that trip

yep...read your write up. Was intrigued with your photo of the Cosgaya track....before I left I thought you'd taken it from the the Cosgaya end...now I know different. Was tempted to give it a shot but there were warning signs not to travel.

2 things the Spanish love: A Wedding and a Spanish MotoGP. Both were going on in this cafe in Veilla de Rio Camion on the P210. This road is recommended everywhere you look but clearly, the road was better in the past. It's now well worn with gravel all over the central spine of the road.

Staying in this private B&B in Bayeux: 25EU each, including brekky and garage for the bikes:

Address: 4 Rue Eustache de Bologne

A great trip. The roads were extremely empty, not what I was expecting, although it can be different
in July / August apparently....like everywhere else. Next time, I'd like to venture more towards Portugal,
taking in a different town each evening.
