Pics of aftermarket cans

Remus Powercone with Remus headers, bloody loud without the baffles, so they are in most of the time :)

I know the bike could do with a wash but its recovering after a 300 mile jolly around the borders yesterday

Exactly the same setup, the remus is good but i intend to change, which other brands fits well.

First pics of the new Keihan we`ve developed for the 1200. It`s very slimline and a new linkpipe straightens the can so I can fit a set of Verns Worldbeater Panniers with no exhaust cut out`s :D

I have just fitted a Leo Vince SBK exhaust. It fits perfectly and looks nice...still not loud enough for me, so I suppose i need to decat the bike!!!:blast

Now that's what I'm looking for :clap I was over at Vern's a couple of weeks ago to see about a set of panniers, he said you working on a new can to get everything to fit on a 1200.

Do you have price and availability figured out yet? We're planning a trip to France in October but I might only get back in UK once before then, some time in June maybe, and want to get everything at the same time, will probably go for one of your Y pieces at the same time.

Oh yeah, and what's the volume like? Can't be getting too much :blagblah from SWMBO on the back!

BOS everytime

Love it! Not too intrusive when you're just bimbling along but a lovely roar when you open her up!
Sounds like the Luftwaffe in a tunnel too! :D

I have the full race titanium Akrapovic on my 1200GS, with the double cans. I have a friend in Capetown who first alerted me to them (when he was about two miles down the road!). Much much lighter than anything else around.
They have no baffles (or even the ability to put baffles in) and raise power a fair bit. And sound so much nicer than my revious full Remus set up. They cost a bloody fortune so you must be thinking of keeping your bike for a while
I'm loath to put a picture up as my GS looks such a wreck, not damaged in any way, just filthy with corroded fastners etc.

You can always customise your own...

1200GS 2008 Akros

Just bought a 2009 GS with Akro end can, what is the Y piece and how will this enhance the performance - taken the baffle out and sounds much better, noticed there's a flat spot between 5-6k revs - no ***! all about the tech stuff though - ?????:bow

Here's a pic of the Leo Vince SBK that i got new a couple of days ago... Looks really good, sounds great. I have a Beowulf stubby coming next week so the LV is up for grabs in the for sale section.. Only been on the bike for a 'noise test'

Akrapovic carbon for my GSA...and maybe sometime later on remus headers...

:)<a href="http://s169.photobucket.com/albums/u234/boxerboy55/BMW-R1200GS/?action=view&current=IMG_0082b.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u234/boxerboy55/BMW-R1200GS/IMG_0082b.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

My choice of pipe + can. Remus headers. Akra can. Passed it's MoT last week OK with baffle in. Will be trying it in the next few days with my new Ultimate Ear plugs, with baffle in the normal 'Out' position. :)

I see you have a Sargeant seat - how do you find this compared to the stock seat?
