... Nothing is perfect and any manufacturer will have some problems with some bikes etc. All they have to do is fix or repair it and in my experience BuMW are better than most in this respect. ...
I have no idea if my bike has 'more corrosion than yours' 'cos at the moment it's covered in a coat of crud that has stuck quite frimly to the coating of AFC 50 I gave it
after my corrosion warranty claim ... prior to this I was using only FS 365 ... since, I have been using both.
Anyhow ... for the record, regarding corrosion issues: I had the gearbox cover replaced, the final drive housing, and I'm on my third rear wheel (which is secured to the hub with black bolts, not silver-coloured ones).
All have been dealt with without fuss and in a most professional manner by my dealership (Bahnstormer

).
The front wheel is showing some signs of corrosion around the hub bolts, and the engine bars are looking a bit rust around the tube junctions ... so I guess they are rusting on the inside ... so these may have to be done before the warranty expires in November ...
I'm inclined to think that customer service has something to do with how one approaches these things – and here I am not, repeat
not, suggesting that any posters on this thread have been anything other than polite in their dealings with their dealer
I would also like to say, that no matter what, none of the issues I have had with the bike have
ever detracted from pride of ownership or enjoyment I have riding it ... I ride it all year round and look after it reasonably well ... but as I said, she does need a good clean just now.
I love this bike ... it
feels like a marriage – so that's bound have a few ups and downs
