Half of me agrees with you, Feargal.
This is most of us, I think Gashopper and son were already messin in the woods at this stage...and yes someone did arrive on a trials bike.
This was young Colm's first spin on this bike and he put Kami completely to shame, brilliant little rider !
No one said turning up on a trials bike was cheating. (but we were all a bit envious.)
The vast majority of the day was free flowing, but there were the odd few obstacles in the mix to challenge all of us. VIDEOS TO FOLLOW.
Peter on his mint XT, nice bike and it didn't miss a beat.
Two Wheels Good made the whole day look easy, centre of pic.
Nah, bringing a trials bike is just cheating.....
The youngest in our group, Gashopper Jnr....... Tenacious and talented.
Half time lunch break, I obviously went for salad in the Deli while the rest of 'em went for chips in the chippy.

.It was a great day out all the same thanks to all involved. I only took 3 videos and lads had an off in 2 of those. Maybe I should have left the camera at home.

As as serial offer myself, I'm with Jim. Spare the mans dignity for gawd sake.
I was expecting to see my embarrassing off too . One moment storming up-hill on the pegs, the next scrambling on the the ground for the kill switch.

Hey lads there are valuable lessons to be learned from the video in question.
(1) how not to ride up a hill
(2) how to dismount with a bit of flair.
So in the intrest of education I say show the video.
