Popping on overrun

To pop or not to pop... mine certainly don't

You aint riding it hard enough to get the engine hot or there are no good steep down hills where you are mate

Hum, I can ride for two hours on the highway (130 km/h) and then take a 8/10 % down-slope no popping...

or there are no good steep down hills where you are mate

Hum, I have the chance to live "up the hill" (110M msl) and when I want to get out of here the short way I have to descend quite steep.

I have noticed that with my Funduro 650 1996 single it did pop from time to time, while descending... until I had the spark-plugs changed ! After that no more popping!

The F8 2008 is not popping at all.
Must be something with the gestion of the engine mixture, spark-plugs, can etc...

But if you enjoy the sound that it does when popping, good for you

Maybe its a optional extra or just cut backs there making world wide.

I feel real bad for you guys who do not get the popping

If my 1200 GSA ever stops popping and banging, I would have to get rid! I had a Ducati 748 SPS that could throw flames out of the cans, It sounded awsome!

mine used to pop and fart beautifully ..... until BMW put a revised fuelling map on the ECU which changed the whole character of the engine, and also took away a lot of engine braking ... I wasn't a happy bunny, and when I complained they said they couldn;t roll back the changes ...
