Can anyone recommend somewhere to have the sportster heads gas flowed ?
I'd like to have this done before I start fucking about with the carb, airfilter and exhaust.

I was always under the impression that gas flowing is the icing on the cake of a tuned engine and that on a basically stock engine it will make pretty near to fuck all difference. So with that in mind I will give my completely unasked for advice and say – save your money for a man sized Harley

Yes gumbo, I'm in my shed this very fucking moment looking at a pair of 1200 barrels, gudgeons, pistons and rings.
Just need someone to fettle the ports.

I can recommend Boz at Powerglides as well. He set mine up on his dyno and obviously knows his way around an HD engine. He can be difficult to get hold of though.

Pah ! That's nothing......I once lapped the head to barrel on my FS1E to eliminate the head gasket and so up the c.r. ........ Not entirely (at all) successful...

Google "fast lane headworks" they have a good reputation with HDRCGB... Or wait till i get back for their number!!

As Melch says not really worth just porting the heads on their own, might as well do the lot, big bore kit, exhaust, carb/injector, cams and porting at least you'll get your moneys worth.

Or just chuck the 1200 kit on and sort the exhaust and fuelling. That will make a fair difference on its own.



I heard fast lane head works are good as well.
