That’s great to hear, I’m genuinely pleased to see one being used for its intended purpose and it proves they can get it right. The BEST bike I've ever owned...91'400 miles in and no fooking way I'm I changing her for anything else.

Never ridden an RT but wouldn’t mind trying one.Not done much miles on it as only had my 1250 since December and started riding it in March.
But so far i love it. The RT is a real mile muncher. And for a big old bus the engine has some good get up and go to it. Also 20mph in 3rd with cruise and the engine is happy to pot along.
I also fitted 1250GS handle bars on it.
No regrets from me in buying my first BMW.

Had a YPVSI really wanted an LC350, but couldn’t afford. Bought a brand new white/red RD400 from HamYam near Newcastle for £700. Still loved it, but always had a hankering for LC with Allspeeds!
An older workmate had one, outside my budget at the time but did have a ride on itWent with a mate to pick up a crated 500LC from Coburn & Hughes not long before they closed down.
He still has it today, got it out of the crate a few years back, now in his hallway.
