I had a flat battery yesterday the bike had only been standing for 3 days

I had wired a amplifier for my mp3 player to the back of the under seat accessory socket thinking this is ignition fed and turns off after turning the ignition off after a short period of time now it used to do this but now I find it stays intermittently live draining the battery

the bikes 3 months old with 3500k so's under warranty I don't want to fook about with it too much myself

now I'm aware of it it's not a problem and will get sorted when the dealer does the 6k service

Just wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem

This issue has been debated endlessly elsewhere here.........can't be arsed to search for it...... :rob

.........there is a software upgrade available from your local friendly BMW Motorrad dealer which fixes the intermittent power take off socket issues......

On it's own this mod takes about 7 minuted plugged into GT1.....if other software upgrades are needed it could take up to an hour.....

Cheers
