A big thank you to all who attended POWERBIKES 2008 at Fiddlers Ferry Power Station on Sunday 29th June... sorry about the weather!!!
We had over 600 bikes there throughout the day and gave out £1000.00 worth of cash and prizes to those who entered the ride-out competitions. We were also proud to have some young biker organisations there to carry us all on into the future. We raised money for the much needed Northwest Air Ambulance and the Emergency Medical Transfer Volunteers. On the whole a really positive event despite the weather!
Plans for a bigger and better event next year are already underway. Your ideas would be much appreciated.
I saw a few GS's arrive throughout the day. I couldn't bring mine as I had to bring the fire engine!
