What an excellent day picked up other half up from Manchester airport this morning..

After being on her hols..

Quick detour on returning home via my local BMW Dealer, and placed an order for a brand new ’09 GSA in Magnesium.. :drool

Extras included Dynamic Pack, Premium Pack, Enduro Park and also the lovely free panniers..

And all that for £11,900.00

Only things missing now is Top Box and Garmin Zumo 550

So my recommendations are ship your other half’s off on a two week break..

And get yourself a shiny new bike “yeah ha” :bounce1

A part from that what are your thoughts on the price I was quoted..

Your feed back is greatly appreciated

Best regards

Svenski

do you really need all that tat?,keep the enduro box but dump the rest and save at least a grand

do you really need all that tat?,keep the enduro box but dump the rest and save at least a grand

But if i want to do that Elefantman I'd just get a KTM Adventure..

And be left wanting..!

Props: Big Nick.. feed back is feed everyone has there own thoughts on the subject...

For me if your going to get a GSA you don't dance around it you get stuck in an load that thing with everything...

Thats a good deal,

I'm just about to order the same bike with only Comfort pack, (Chrome ex, trip comp, flashy indicators, htd grips), for 10,400, although i am getting a good deal on the P/X?

Go for it!

i paid £12.300 with the panniers and topbox last august and that was before the £500 price rise in jan 2009. so same spec today should be around £12800

Thanks to everyone who has replied it’s greatly appreciated… :thumb

Well one day has past since ordering and I’ve already got some more parts to order for it:

1. Top Box complete
2. Tank Bag Small 5ltr

Any other suggestions..

Was also thinking of the unrated Windscreen elements from Touratech don’t know it the original are adequate for constant off road.

.

You probably already know but if you buy a top box, & "Luggage pack" to go with your free panniers you get the liners and tank bag you save £100 as I just have.

Looked in to the "Luggage pack" great deal all the kit for £625

But I only want the Top Box for £385..

I've been told today that the BMW original small tank bag
(Part No.71607713012) won't fit the '09 GSA but it does fit the GS.

Just out of curiosity does anyone use/own one of the fore mentioned tank bags on a '08 -'09 GSA….

Or is the upper fairing section of the fuel tanks different between the GS and GSA..

Thanks again

Yeah the credit crunch has its upside - I got a similarly good deal even though I traded an 05 GS in and then the dealer phoned me up to say I could have free boxes as well!

I didn't set out to get all the bells and whistles but I effectively got them for free and got the bike within a fortnight instead of a couple of months...

What a fab bike!

Hi

Hoping to place my deposit for a GSA tomorrow but saw your deal and thought wow.

I've been offered a deal but its not that cheap and it would be pre-registered.

Please would you mind telling me what dealer it was ?

Also was the bike pre- registered?

Many thanks

Marcus

Which Dealer....

Hi Fishy,
The dealer that I’m dealing with is Alan Jefferies, I would highly recommend them to anybody looking at purchasing a new bike, they have been very accommodating with all my quires and requests.

The fore mentioned price includes a brand new bike fresh from the factory (due to the spec), taxed and registered..

Regards

Svenski

Many thanks for that. I will be placing a deposit today for a gsa. The only thing is I cant stop thinking about the K1300S so I may change my mind at the last minute.

Thanks again

Fishy

Well my new bike was ordered yesterday. In the end I ordered a K1300S.
Eventually I will get a GSA (I hope).
:comfort :D
