Pro-Grips

Well, sorry to bang on but I rode several hours yesterday with no white/numb fingers since fitting these things. It's looking good. However, being a bit of an obsessive type (not the only one around here, I suspect), I have "had to" replace my badly cut down pair with some new (uncut and neater) ones. The old ones came off easily with a squirt of WD40 so if anyone wants them, they are hacked off (as it were) but free to good home. First come first served. :-)

Contrary to my previous comment, after a week of these on the bike now I am have in trouble with pains in the palm of my hands, never had this before so I can only say it must be these, going to see if I can roll them off tonight then see if the pain has gone on my ride into work tomorrow.

I often get pains in the palm of my hand. No grips fitted atm.

I'm wondering if risers would help?

Persisted with them for another week and I am happy with them for now, I think its more me than the grips. I have found I tend to grip harder with these thus causing the pain in the palm of my hands, when I check my grip and loosen it the pain instantly goes. Maybe because they are squishy I want to squash them ha-ha. Anyway I recon it’s worth trying to adapt because I do like the feel of the wider grips now.
