It's all very simple, Honestly, Just take your time and Don't just load a parts cannon !!

Take a minute ask your questions,

We fire you some ideas and you go try them

Its nothing but two big opposing pistons "flapping up and down (Horizontally) " "Carbs / injection" "Sparks" and "exhaust"

we all thought they were batshit complicated and then the 1200 "Hex Heads" came in

Now its all old hat and someone somewhere has figured out the tweaks and fixes!

Reset tps
Started up straight away with the non choke lever open😂
Shut the lever tick over very low but ticking over
Granted still very cold
Went for a 2 mile ride round
No backfire and from what I can tell never owning one before it seems to be fine
Rickover was just over 1k
I’ll do a few miles then when I’m moting I’ll put them analyser on it
I’ll let you all know how my next couple of days go

"Step Away from the GAS Analyser !!!!!" If it is running "nice" LEAVE it alone 1'st Rule of Oilhead Club !!

Adjust "Rickover" ;) to 1100 RPM + or 0 50 rpm Using the Big Brass screws When at full working temp (5 bars on temp scale) If you set it when cold you will end up with an idle of 12 or 1300 Which is NOT ideal in traffic in Summer if you go touring !!

Adjust "throttle balance" using the threaded cable guides DO NOT touch the throttle stops inboard of the Throttle bodies Or its another can of worms !!

Vacuum ports are front and below throttle bodies for balance and that sorta Poop Make sure you have replacement Rubber nipple covers as they are likely hard and crumbling!



You never said if you had a splitter box below the battery or that your bike has a singl ecrossover cable from left side to right side ???

Yes I’m happy with how it rides now
Good clean pull from tickover
Are they better with standard exhaust on or with aftermarket
I have both but got aftermarket on at min
