My new bike came with the above, when I left the previous owner the Quest had power and was working fine, but on the way home it ran out of puff as the QPAC isn't charging (but I didn't know this.

My bike maintenance Guru had a gander at it checked fuse but I forgot to take the Quest with me :blast we thought it was fixed it was not :(

The Quest did not come with a mains charger so I haven't been able to charge it up since and none of my other USB chargers can breathe any life in to it.

Now I want to flog it but I don't want to flog something not working so does anyone know where I should start looking around the QPAC for a remedy - pin connections on the RAM cradle, what does what

Anything else we :augie (he) can check :nenau

Come on I don't want Billykins deriding me for having a wannabee ADV and owning a Quest :D

Andy. I had a problem with power to my quest. When it is on the Qpac/Quest mount on the bike, it is the right hand pin that provides power. Mine was bust check the state of that pin, you may be able to find a way to make the connection. I managed to get hold of a new Qpac and fitted that instead.

Andy, sent you pm.

I am away this week, so am unable to assist much but have given contact of 'mate' who does know more than me.

Fuse should be 1.5amp and never exceded in any circumstance. It could be input circuit stage which protects the Vreg chipset. Also check 4 contact pins as well.

Back next week.
