Hi folks is there a mod to get rid of the stupid small filler neck on the tank .. filling up is a right pain ...grrrr

Take it out, drill a few holes around the top, refit

Makes filling the tank a lot easier.

I did mine years ago, while the filler was out I cut about half an inch off the bottom, doing away with the lip at the bottom.. no more 'splash back'...

Yeah thats what I was on about its a pain cos when it splashes back the pump cuts out then its a slow process filling it cos gotta hold the nozzle jus right to stop it...yeah think I'll do what you did ...
