I recently bought a high mileage R1100RT and while the bike is sweet I have a recurring problem with the right hand indicator assembly. The small push in studs or pins are not working properly as some of them are missing or have broken their spring loaded teeth that grip the studs as you push the indicator on. I have installed retaining wires and this helps but the indicator keeps falling off. These fittings look like they are part of the main assembly and cannot be replaced unless I buy a complete indicator assembly, something I do not want to do. Is there any help out there?
