Arrived today and just fitted it, it was indeed a piece of piss to do Only difficulty was getting the dowel out of the old starter, did it in the end. I plan to refurb the old one and put it into my R1100GS as that one is sticking. I will then have a spare that I will get refurbed too. Any recommendations as to who does starter motor refurbs? Interestingly, the megga thick Clymer manual mentions nothing of keeping the live clear of anything and nothing about the dowel
