Has anyone else had their R1200GS into a dealer recently and received the latest fuel map?
Mine has just been into SPC BMW for some warranty work and they also did a recall job on some fuel system O rings and loaded a new updated fuel map into the ECU. She used to struggle to rev past 3 thou when in neutral, coughing and occasionally dying. (I only noticed this when my daughter sat on the bike and revved it showing off, only for it to stall.)
With the new fuel map, the bike is much smoother and quicker, a Porsche Boxster driver pulled out on me on a roundabout yesterday on the A34 to my annoyance and then tried to outrun me showing off to the blonde in his passenger seat. I kept on his tail no problem up to silly speeds which I won't reveal on an open forum.
In a nutshell, the latest fuel map is a major improvement and is worth getting done.
