R1200GS to Adventure Fuel Tank Swap!!

Hiya,

Can someone tell me whether it is possible to switch the standard tank of the 12GS to that of the Adventure - the GS being 20 litres and the Adventure about 33. The extra fuel would be good for greater range touring.
