Touratech also makes the stock aluminum bags...Good stuff ! The black boxes would have looked better on a black or white bike and the top box looks like shit...LOL Would replace with another aluminum one.Like that the exhaust cut out is finally gone even if the exhaust is too quiet on the 1300...LOL
I speak english very well but I can das nicht so schnell...Yes !

Wonder if he mentions there is a stop on them at the moment ! I ordered my GS with panniers and top case on 4th November for a mid March delivery and I have been told BMW are not sure when they will be available.Coming soon, kids….

Strange how this works, I ordered the Vario luggage on it's own in December as didn't order with the bike. The panniers were delivered to the dealer early January and the top box later in January. Although there is a delay on the wiring harness to power the top box for central locking / lighting / charging which I don't have a date for but not bothered for the minute as not touring until May.Wonder if he mentions there is a stop on them at the moment ! The luggage isn't available on any dealer website or on the configurator at the moment,my wife won't ride without a top box so I'm looking at alternativesStrange how this works, I ordered the Vario luggage on it's own in December as didn't order with the bike. That's a crap position to be in, it does seem like they have made a right mess of the luggage situation. Like I say I haven't used it yet, but even just poking and prodding around doesn't fill me with the same confidence as the old aluminium boxes I had on the GSA. I will reserve judgement until I have had a decent trip under my belt. The luggage isn't available on any dealer website or on the configurator at the moment,my wife won't ride without a top box so I'm looking at alternatives

I think you are right, I reckon the top case will end up getting used more than the panniers saving those only for trips away.To be honest, if you’re used to top loaders you will probably find any side loaders less practical
You're a lucky man, mine is due anytime now without any luggage a givi top box and rack is being provided free of charge untill the luggage is available.and the delay is due to faults with the winding mechanism. My bike arrives next week, with a top box. No mention of topbox delays...

There are none available online anywhere or on the configurator.

Arsey your sarcasm is so biting that it hurts...LOLOne day, just one day , BMW will release a bike that is actually finished and not subject to instant recalls or not have important accessories available.
Good job they made it less suitable for touring and then remove the option to have luggage any time soon . Genius.![]()
