That is lovely. The R45 and R65 look quite modern really.

Some time ago for sure.......I actually rode one back in the day. Slower and heavier than a 400 superdream but much better built and with a charm or its own.... and whilst airheads in general are relatively uncommon, the R45 is distinctly are, I think that's part of the charm of this bike - when did you last see an R45, never mind such a well sorted one?

Excellent, you should be proud of that bikeHad four hours out today and the bike ran great with no issues whatsoever. I’d say it’s best at 50-60 but it will happily sit at 70mph at 5000rpm (redlines at 7500) . The braking with the twin front disc setup is very good .
