bought this Rob Farmer fettled gearbox several years ago and never fitted it.
I'm about to put it up for sale but can't for the life of me remember if it's a mono or paralever fitting (I bought a couple off him some years ago)

Can anyone tell from the photo please?

(or am I totally befuddled and there is no difference)

looks like its set up for a G/S or RT Bill, basically pre paralever

Is the seal in Back to front? As in, the garter spring is to the rear rather than inside the box ?

Thanks for the reply, I had a feeling it was for a g/s mono. Not sure about the seal, Rob Farmer fitted it, so that's down to him :D
I'll put it in the for sale section later.

You can look in through the output flange to see if the seal is seal face in = Mono set up, or Seal face out = Paralever set up

a GS Paralever has the seal to prevent oil from escaping from the gearbox into the swingarm area (UNLESS you haven't sealed the wee hole at 12 o'clock then it gets out easily :blast dont ask me how I know!)

Conversely the Mono set up is to prevent gear oil from the shaft area entering the gearbox
