Radiator guards and waranty

I have been informed today that fitting a non BMW approved radiator guard will invalidate the warranty. That's all. Don't know if it has been discussed before but this is a heads up. Don't shoot the messenger but you'll have to speak to your BMW dealer if you want to know what exactly of the warranty is invalidated. Have fun.
 
Tbh ill be keeping mine on I'd rather not have a stone spoil my ride especially if it holed whilst abroad.

So in the event of any claim ill just remove them.

No surprise really - BMW just protecting themselves.
 
Ordered the Touratech ones from nn 4 weeks ago and I'm still waiting for them. I had an email from them on last Sunday to say it will be a 2 or 3 weeks so

Yeah l know, l was over at bahnstormer on Saturday and they have the rugged roads ones in both black and chrome and there cheaper than l Touratech ones, it's a pity have the Touratech ones on order as l would on got them
