Had to take the bike in (1200GS) at very short notice 'cos there's oil coming out of the shaft drive - one of the seals leaking. Despite the fact that they're booked solid they're going to try to get my bike back on the road asap because I'm heading to Germany in a couple of weeks.

Not only that but, because I'm doing a course this weekend (I2I-MCA), they've lent me another 1200GS to use. Typical of how helpful they are.

There is a rumour though that the cheap CZ chains fitted to the F800GS's are lasting longer than the drive shafts/drive shaft bearings/gearbox oil seals of the 1200's

Yup, it was and I did - excellent day and now booked on the off-road one in August.
