My bike with standard suspension is due tomorrow, however, I've had a niggling voice saying that I should get the Sport suspension.
Coming from a GSA, the sport suspension on the Rallye makes the bike the same height. This can be achieved with the extra high seat, available on the standard suspension bike, however, if you spec the Sport suspension, you can only have the lower Rallye seat. Ultimately, the seat height will be the same on both versions.
The main reason for changing from a GSA to GS is because of ongoing back issues, so I need to get this right. I'm reading mixed reviews of the Sport suspension; BMW market it as harder, and higher than standard, some reviews say it's the same suspension components/ ride height/ comfort as the GSA. If it's the latter, this would be the setup I'd want.
So, my question to anyone that's either come from a GSA onto a Rallye with Sport suspension, or to anyone that has ridden a Rallye with Sport suspension, is how hard is it? I haven't found a dealer with both on demo, so can't ride them back to back, before the usual smart arses pipe up!
If I change my order, it needs to be first thing tomorrow, as the bike I've ordered is being delivered to the dealer tomorrow!
HELP!!!!!!
