Rathmullan/Buncrana Ferry

It seems from info on the 'net that this ferry is no longer in service.

Can anyone local confirm this?

Seems a shame, I have used it plenty of times in the past.

It has been touch n go over the last few years whether it would keep running or not
Not on this year, unfortunately.

As you say, it is a shame as good to use when around Inis Eoghain or north Donegal

Yep that ferry has been sold and no longer operates that crossing.

Thats a shame. We normally holiday in Downings, the ferry was fierce handy.

saw a couple of bikes heading on to buncrana pier this afternoon looking for the ferry. Little or no signage saying it wasn't running.
