Hi People,

June 9th - 14th I’m planning to do do the above, those are the days on the routes including a day in the Med, the Verdon and finishing at Alp d'Huez

I’ve got an old Michelin Map and the ING one - On the RDGA I was just planning to use the Google maps each day and set a few way pints to keep me on the route and a quick play has confirmed that will work.

However when looking at Route Napoleon on the two maps and the route I have in my Nav 4 from 2016 I’m seeing different routes - The Nav 4 route I have seems closer to the Michelin map.

I’ll be in the Spyder so will be using an iPhone rather than May Nav 4 so…

Is my thoughts on the Michelin is the better for a car route correct
Anyone know off a way to load these route onto an iphone
Any other words of wisdom

BTW my company for the whole trip will be a lovely 355 Spider - If anyone is interested in joining I can share dates and hotels

I have some GPX files of the Route Napoleon if it would help. I think I begged them off Timolgra. They are untested but you could always load them into Google Earth for a preview.

See the two stickies. There are several variations on both routes. The roads won’t be able to tell if you are in a car, on a motorcycle, on a bicycle or on foot.

Be sure to check that the digs are Spyder friendly; you can’t be too careful.

Am I right in thinking I can use that my route app to download and navigate with? TIA

Driving a car like that, I'd be inclined to look through the windshield at the road and never mind the phone nav...
Anyways- files are here on UKGSER- not on tourenfahrer.de or MRA b:Dllocks etc
