re-coding ADV side pannier locks

Hi, Can anyone help. I need to recode a set of painners that i just got secound hand to my bikes key. Anyone know how to do it????

Best Bet go to your BMW dealer he has all the inserts you will need,but will charge per lock if he did not supply the panniers .

I got my dealer to do it while Forry was changing the rails. We drank their coffee and drooled over their bikes. When finished I went to pay and was told “no charge.”

Might be wrong on this one but I seem to recall you need the key the pannier locks are currently coded to in order to recode them.

you might need the original key to get the old lock mech out, not sure.
