Seemed quite interesting. Never heard much about this with a bike, always seemed to be diesel cars. Might it be an issue if your bike was still within warrenty and you had a problem?

Having done over 3 years worth of research......... I have no qualms in recommending that you have the remap done.
I might have different reasons that most people.... for me it's never been about extra power or torque - but rather to get the engine performing correctly and to prevent any future damage or failures that could relate to the very lean A/F ratios that the EU have enforced on the bikes.
A correct A/F map will allow the engine cooler operation and longevity..
