Another thing to note is that the Odometer should read accurately as it's a mechanical connection but the speedo uses a crude spinny magnetic thingy and a light spring to return the needle to 0mph.
Over the life of the speedo this spring can get slightly limp and loose some tension so the speedo will get even less accurate.
So have any of the high milers noticed how bad this is?
Also, there is no excuse or bulls**t euro regualtions for the odometer, so has anyone tested the accuracy?
For example if the odo reads a distance 100miles what does your GiPS say?
