Rear Disc recommendations.

I need to purchase a new rear brake disc for an 1150GSA 03. Steptoe can’t help at the moment.

Have you any recommendations without having to re-mortgage the house?

I fitted a grimica disc to mine, 2000 trouble free miles so far. Motobins do them. Check out item number 380157904350 on fleabay, 75 quid plus post.

Because they have to be lighter and thinner so are made from more expensive materials (i.e. not cast iron) and because they're made in tiny quantities compared to car/van brakes so there aren't the economies of scale.

And probably a few other reasons like "because the can be".

I fitted a pattern brake disc made by Grimeca to my 1150GS a couple of weeks ago.
Got it from Moto-bins for £65 (Part No.20350G) and I'm happy with it.
