Gents, am doing some modification work on my 83 R100RS (twin shock). Looking at getting some different rear shocks for it and am wondering how high(long) I can go with the rear shocks before I am likely to start getting UJ/shaft issues? Probably looking at around an inch or so increase in shock height to get the look I am after.
Many thanks for your time

I think you'd be hard pushed to have issues with the UJ. The mono G/s has the same driveshaft.

I'd be more concerned with the steering, if you go too steep the bike will be very twitchy.

Thanks for that, not wanting to go to high with it, just trying to get the right tyre to mudguard clearance look I am after. Will try and post some pictures up of what I am doing when its near completion.
