Hmmm I wonder if they'll do my first service too if I ask nicely?
I suspect they'll be trying to get through the recalls as quickly as possible so I'd suggest that it's unlikely, but you can always ask

I think he said if it’s after 750 you were ok .Could you share the VIN number information please so folk don't have to wait to be contacted and can stop riding their bikes ASAP in the interests of safety, cheers.
They should do, due to the inconvenience you have suffered not being able to ride the bike. Definitely worth an ask.Hmmm I wonder if they'll do my first service too if I ask nicely?
I had no trouble getting through earlier in the week but I guess things have got more busy. Krazy Horse called me yesterday to check I had heard about the recall.Tried ringing Norton 5 times over the last couple days.
No answer or return of voice messages left.
To add insult to injury my dealer and Norton have parted company after less than 5 months.
I’m glad this bike was so cheap![]()
VIN numbers up to and including 0753I called Norton on Friday, and they confirmed the do not ride instruction. It affects all bikes 2021–Feb 2025 build dates, but it’s difficult to know the actual build date. I got mine in March but it was, I’m sure, built before then.
I said I was disappointed that’s had to call them, since if it wasn’t for the post up here I wouldn’t have known.
However, it is what it is. A service manager will call me back, apparently.
Me neither. Right pain.Still not heard anything myself.
Have their waiting times reduced ?Looks like I'll be using Teasdale's for service too.
Nice ride up there though.
Same. Very underwhelmed.Still heard FA and I’ve called them 3 times. Reception staff are lovely, but I’ve had zero call backs or official notifications. Without t’interweb I’d still be riding it.
Looks like I’ll be missing the DGR this year![]()
