I'm after advice for a laptop, dont mind secondhand, budget circa £250 that runs windows 7.Dont need a cd/dvd drive as ive an external one, it does need a sd slot and a couple of usbs, preferably usb2.
A ssd hard drive i think is a must, or the ability to rip the normal hd out and fit a ssd type.
I dont want summat that in constant need of fettling, i wouldnt mind an I pooter, but i find it seems to be uncompatible with certain stuff, so i'll stick with windows 7.
I dont need a massive hd as ive several plug in drives via usb and a couple of 64gb usb pens, and a couple of large 32gb sd ,class 10 cards.
I dont want a massive screen, perhaps under 13" so it fits in the bike topbox, ive used an eepc901 for years, but its struggling with windows 7.Thats got a 32gb ssd,2gig ram and 1.6gig processor, but its strugglin man.
what do you know?
