RECOMMEND ME A WINTER GLOVE

I really rate the Dainese Sprog gloves.

Expensive, but worth it?

The three fingered Gericke Pathans are the warmest gloves I've used. They take a little bit of getting used to. Alpinestars Polar gloves are quite good too. Been using a pair of them on all but the coldest days for the last 2years.

Used a pair of BMW Winter Pro gloves over the last 2 winters. Been ok when supported by the heated grips.

These look the dogs Mike, are they the same as these Buffalo brand ?

or do i need to order from us to get the genuine article:thumb

No, they're not the same. They're a slight modification on the original Belstaff ones which I have. They have slightly thinner linings than the Belstaffs for better feel. However, I'm reliably informed that was achieved by using a upgraded spec of Thinsulate.

You do need to order them from BMG in San Diego. I know Paul Brooks who runs the company - he's a good guy and does great customer service.

Cheers Mike , on order, 43 us bucks postage, ouch:blast

Thanks again :flag

BMW Pro Winter 2 are great until 3-4 degrees celsius, below they are cold IMHO, even with heated grips as they are pretty thick so the heat doesn't really pass through. I've heard good reviews on the Held Freezer as an alternative.

Gerbing T5 heated gloves, forget muffs and heated grips they just don't do what these gloves do so well. The only complaint I have is that I did not try them 10 years ago already :blast so they cost £130 but I have spent more than that on other gloves and gimics that never worked as well.

heated gloves are lovely :)

if your hands get as cold as mine so easily do these days, they are the answer :thumb2

much warmer than muffs BTW.

Seen in another place:

French magazine Motomag ran a test which consisted of exposing the gloves
for 20 mins inside a wind tunnel at 100 km/h (62mph) with 80% humidity at
a temp of -5C and then measuring the temp inside the glove at the end.
The results were:

Mac Adam Baikal: 12.7C
Furygan Land Gel: 12.1C
Bering Kyoto: 11.3C
Held Freezer: 10.9C
Dainese Jericho-r: 10.8C
BMW prowinter 2: 10.1C
Ixon profast: 9.9C
Revit elements: 9.5C
Spidi alu tech 8.9C
Richa polar winter 8.5C
Alpinestars st3 7.6C
Helstons ride 7.7C
