Recommend me an end can .....

Nope, he's changing gears all wrong on that zard video!!!....
Jesus the box sounds horrific doesn't it!

Isn't that the whine off the roller on the dyno as opposed to the gearbox :)

Yes mate... I'm referring to the long, world famous thread on here where many people describe the box as loud, clunky and... Loud and clunky.... And others say it's super quiet....
Totally audible even above the loud whine of the roller!!

Tempted by the zard now and the termi, but as mentioned I'd like no logo on. Anyone know if they can be removed or can be bought without them on?

Love the 2nd video where the bike 'gently' engages 1st gear! BANG!!

A sound all to familiar :) I still love the bike though. Anyone who says their LC has a superquiet or superslick gearbox has never ridden a Suzuki :)

If I didn't have the Akra, the Termi would be my next choice, as long as the logo could be removed.:thumb

There you are, told you so
Full Akra system hung around for a whole 14 hrs before being snapped up.

Yes and it was £700 plus P&P which is a good price for the complete system but i didn't want the complete system and i didn't want an Akra

so is there any reason to fit a can other than sound and looks? do they actually run better?

Acording to the blurb yes as the bike "breathes" better and should give slight increase in mid range.

Also weight saving and better sound

When I put on the end can only I did not notice any performance gain, the header pipes are a different matter.
The difference with the pipes is better/smoother fuelling and more tractability, a real improvement.
I would go for pipes first and get the bike set up properly and leave it there.

having filtered for 5 miles today - I'd add another. Ability to blip throttle and get the numpties to move over..........

I'm eyeing the black Akrapovic end can, but the price puts me off. So, which end can provides the best noise, but not so loud that it's unbearable?

I had an Akrapovic, sold it and bought the Arrow, I prefer the looks and sound of the Arrow and had £300 left to buy my BMW/Gilles footrests, and my LED spot lamp kit :) build quality is as good as the Akrapovic and its a lot lighter . Akrapovic will undoubtedly retain more of its value but I've not bought it with resale in mind, the Arrow was under £300 new delivered from Italy thanks to the weak euro.

The termi looks great to, looking forward to hearing one.

I am looking forward to hearing my termi but there is a problem with supply at present (bloody typical)

Does the Arrow can still allow for the vario cases to be fitted? The arrow can looks good, provided it doesn't feature a massive yellow logo on the side!

I have Bumot panniers and the fit is fine, various would be fine to. Pictures of mine are in this tread, no yellow logos, a very subtle "arrow" etched into the can. They do them in black to. I saw a black Beowulf in the flesh last week and it looked good.

There is a lot out there for the money these days.

Just a quick note, 1000 miles into the Arrow ownership and I spotted a small problem, if the pannier's are fitted and the baffle is out, the gases seem angled perfectly to warm up and de laminate my number plate. With the baffle in it didn't happen, but a few hundred miles with the baffle out and it's warmed the plate up enough to cause it. I'm just going to order a pressed metal plate for the bike and that's the end of the problem, it could of course just be a bad plate, but I suspect not, especially after wringing it's neck around Wales and down to visit the parents in Telford this weekend.

Any news on your Termignoni Rick?
