Having worked on them for a living most of his life you will not find anyone more knowledgeable when it comes to these bikes.

The intermittent problem is almost certainly caused by using the wrong oil, have a search on the site for which to use.....there's some excellent advice on here.

I am still using his advice and suggestions after several years His knowledge is up there with the best. Just don't ask him about center stand bolts because he knows fuck all about those. Ask me instead
