I read the manual and it seems a pain in the neck to disassemble double silencer to remove tire. I just took all air from the original tire and squeeze it out perfectly. To install the new one will do the same. Leave it at the sun so is easier to squeeze it in after you take all the air out, set it back in. There is a clamp in the silencer you need to replace if you take out the silencer. What were they thinking?

Allow rear silencer to cool
down.
with double silencer OE
Slacken clamp 3.
Remove the screw with
shaped washer 2.
Remove silencer 1 and
clamp 3.
The clamp is designed for
one-time installation only
and has to be replaced before
the silencer is installed

Easier than that. Remove the lower rear splash guard and it should wriggle out without needing to touch the exhaust, or deflate the tyre. It looks to be the same set up as the 1200/1250 which has enough room to pull the wheel out.

I have also a 1250 and had no problem with that one. Now I have the Triple Black with off road tires and the double silencer. No wiggle possible until deflated the tire and squished it. With the single silencer the manual says no need to move silencer. Will let you guys know how the assemble worked.

Am I reading this correctly.

On the 1300 you have to remove the silencer before you can remove the rear wheel

Just finished putting new tire.
Just removed the caliper and the tire went in.
I believe easier than removing silencer

That is what the manual says. But could do it by just removing brake caliper.
If you dont do that the tire can not be removed

Agree. There may be some 170-60 tire profiles that will slip out but (unlike the 1250) the oem Anakee will not slip out without removing the muffler or caliper.
