Remus headers are £285 from Nippy Normans and the BMW Akra can retails for £495 through BMW dealers.

The bash plate is retained although you do have to remove it to fit the headers.

cheers,i will give it all a go,would like to see if i could use the headers then the standard can with all the baffles removed do you think this will be possable, cheers

Depends on how comfortable you feel with opening the stock can as it's welded together.

Personally I'd fit the headers first with the can as it is and see how you like it. :thumb

Job done.

I ordered the Remus headers whilst I was away this week and they were waiting for me when I got home.

Fitted them this morning, with relative ease.

I'm very impressed.

The fuelling seemed to adjust within minutes.

Initially when I opened her up from, say about 3000 revs she would splutter slightly before picking up,but literally within 5 minutes any hesitation has disappeared.

It's much torquier,smoother,and,er............louder !

Best £250 I've spent on a bike in a long while.
