Just renewed with Bikesure . R1250 GSA, XJR1300 and an 411 Himalayan. £492. Apparently 2% lower than last year.
Got a quote with Bennett’s which was a few quid cheaper but not worth swapping.
Agree with what’s been said about Carole Nash , was with them about 13 yrs, then all of a sudden premiums ( for me at least) shot up. Got a quote this year , wanted £1100.

Careful with Bikesure. They tried nabbing me for an extra £400 odd 2 weeks AFTER I had paid my renewal premium..

They are a broker, if the underwriter has messed up the quote, then I guess the broker isn't going to foot the higher cost. I have been with Bikesure for 3 years now, have never had any issues with them trying to get more than the quote. Guess shit happens sometime. Bet there aren't many brokers around where somebody hasn't had an issue with them.

What was there justification for that? Surely youre within your rights to cancel with full refund and go elsewhere?

So, short story, Bikesure quoted me to renew my insurance. I accepted and paid.

They've now rung to say they misquoted and I need to stump up another £400 or cancel and refund me the amount I've paid?

Anyone had this before?

I did cancel and went elsewhere. FCA is currently investigating.

Insured with Bikesure yesterday. Took an hour on the phone, but £475 which seemed OK

Renewal with Bikesure £100 less than last year so very pleased some slight amendments to cover. Saved a further 3.49!

Need to check if Hastings will cover the panniers..

If the bikes in an accident Hastings will send it to 4th Dimension along with the panniers to be damaged further.
