Hallo All,
I would like to replace the oil fork in my HP2 Enduro with another higher viscosity. But I don't know the viscosity of standard oil. Can Someone help me?

Thank's Simone

If you do this your own, i think the manual will help.

http://www.marzocchi.com/template/listSPAManuals.asp?IDFolder=284&LN=UK&Sito=usa-moto

download the pdf (Shiver Ø45 Manual)

From page 14
OIL CLIMATE FEATURES QUANTITY
Marzocchi Art.550013 TEMPERATE sae 7,5 APPROX. 670CC
Marzocchi Art.550003 COLD sae 5 APPROX. 670CC

Thank you very much for your information HP_Mic. If you look better, the model described on Marzocchi Site is a little bit different on the Compression register position (down on pdf figure, up on my HP2). Is it not important?.

Hi Simone
This is the only 45mm manual from Marzocchi. It seems to apply to one leg. The other one is made only for BMW I guess. I attached the instructions from the HP2 manual, because there is some difference on the oil. BMW recommends SAE10. There is nothing there that indicates that the other leg has a different procedure as you can see. When my dealer installed WP springs on my first set of forks, the recommendation from WP was SAE7.5. Maybe what you need is stiffer springs. Other option is progressive springs from Wilbers. Many went the Wilbers route, but I don’t like progressive springs.

thank you very much Michael for your support, my idea is to use another oil with more viscosity (for example SAE 15) to increase the idraulic brake effect.
Thank you , Simone
