That we think was a stuck tensioner,
We did an oil change for 10/40 with a new Mahle filter ( we weren't sure if we had fine particles in the oil) so we did the change as a sort of flush
Set the end float, inlet & exhaust tappet clearances, cleared all adaptations with gs911
Resynced the stepper motors & rebalanced the throttle bodys
It sounded a hell of a lot quieter
1K miles later I changed the oil for 20/50 and a new Mahle filter-
It's still going strong afaik
