I've got a mate here who's on his way from Oz to the UK and the final drive output bearing on his 1150GS failed yesterday in Northen India. BMW dealers are a bit thin on the ground here so we'll have to repair it ourselves.
Does anyone have any hints or tips about removing the bearing and refitting a new one? Do we just heat the casing up and knock the thing out?
