So I'm not new here by any means, but I've been a non GS owner for quite a few years...
Now however the siren call is beginning once again. But I'm in a quandary - my last was a lovely GSA 1150 ('should never have...' etc. etc.) and I currently have an Interceptor which is great, but just feels... small. I try other bikes but keep on coming back to my first love.
So here's the thing. I'm looking at maybe spending 6-8k on something. I've never had a 1200, and for that price I'm looking at either really nice twin cam hex heads or LC 1200s - there's a lot of spread in the range of prices (I've even seen a 1250 GSA just above that range, with high mileage).
In the manner of Gardener's Question Time, what would the panel (you) suggest and why?
